Doug Crawford is being recognized for his controbutions to the short documentary NUESTRAS ACEQUIAS. The Governor's Cup Competition will enter its third year in 2007. Created by Governor Richardson to recognize and support the work of New Mexico's filmmaking talent, to date the program has awarded $21,500 in cash plus thousands more in in-kind services to seven local filmmakers.

The Durango Herald came to watch Doug Crawford as he wrapped up filming for the Colorado episode of the national PBS series, Equitrekking. Doug has been working with the show's producer, Darley Newman since its second episode, shot in New Mexico.
